Appalling service from a panel beater

<p>I was involved in a car accident in December I was hit on the left back passenger side. My insurance company instructed me to take the car to Renew It Edenvale. I then received a call towards end January from the panelbeater that the car was ready for collection. When we arrrived there, it took them longer to bring out the car. We started getting worried as to what was happening. We then decided to go out and check ourselved on the floor only to catch them red-handed with the door panels stripped. They said the windows are not opening as the fuse was burnt (they can only be opened by the driver), the computer box was tampered with (it was opened), the clock and odometer buttons are not working, the small left back window is lose on one side, the nuts are lose in the boot, the boot door has got a gap big enough to slip in a thumb. They said this is not the way they hand over the car back to the customer. My question is why then did they call if it did not pass their quality control checks? While waiting, 3 other customers came to complain about other things they found either not to be working or falling off irrelevant to the impact side of the accident. Guys tell me, what is this??? I reported this to my insurance and they promised to come back to me. Even now I am still waiting for their call. I am very much worried I feel it is not safe electronically, anything can happen while driving it. They assured us that it would be fixed but I am still perplexed with the way the car was handled as it is getting to a s****yard.</p>
