disheartened by Renault SA

Within a year of buying my Renault, when I put car on reverse it makes a squeaky sound and doesn’t reverse. I book car to be checked as its still under the one year warrantee, the response I received is that I need to pay them R6000 for the car to be diagnosed as they don’t know what the problems is, and possibly pay R30000 for repairs.

The car is still under warrantee, why do I have to pay for diagnoses??

I have called Renault SA and they continue to hang up every time I relate my problem. I am truly disheartened by Renault and its service
