POOR AFTER SERVICE - OVERALL POOR MANAFACTURED VEHICLE

Good day

I would like to share our bad experience with the whole world and warn other possible future duyers to think more than twice before buying Renault vehicles.

We bought a Renault Sandero August 2015 from the Nelspruit Dealers after had to decide between 3 vehicles. A thousand promises and convinces were made about how wonderful they are - the vehicles, after service, the extra mile to keep customers happy and to put them first, everyting! and less than one year later, have to deal wilt a faulty self starter.

My son visit us from the University for the academic break and complained about problems to start his Renault Sandero. We took the vehicle in for a test and they found that it has a faulty self-starter, due to factory error and it needs to be replaced. They are however unable to assist immediately and advise us to Centurion branch who, according to Chantel will be able to assist same day as they are situated next to the dealer parts.

I called Ashleigh at Centurion and they are also unable to assist. In the meantime my son has to go back to Pretoria to resume academic classes on Monday and needs a car to get there and also to his practical responsibilities.

I called Wanda at Nelspruit Renault who sold the vehicle to us and made all the wonderful promises about the extra mile, after service... in short the moon and stars, and according to her they discussed it in the week about responsibility of curtesy cars and help to clients, and they were informed that it is the workshop's responsibility. I spoke to Siemens, the workshop manager and he pulled up his shoulders - just said that it is not their problem or has any responsibility to clients - they have nothing to do with such a situation where a client’s needs assistance when dealing with a factory error.

Now, my son still needs to go back to University, nobody are willing at all to assist in any way, and we have to deal with a really poor manufactured vehicle... Gone with any of the moon-and- stars-promises just to sell the car.

Please, we would like to advise any future buyer to think twice before buying Renault. Their promises last only until the vehicle has been sold - afterwards it's your problem to deal with all the faulty issues.
