Stay away from RENASA Insurance Company
I had my first housebreak claim with Renasa now. My garage door (electronic) was forced open and they stole everything of value in the garage. The assessor then decided that it wasn't forceful entry because nothing was broken! But on the photos the police took you can clearly see something was used to force the door open. I lost about R25 000.00 worth of good, but because someone who doesn't know anything wants his voice to be heard, they only wants to pay me R3000 BECAUSE IT WASN'T A FORCEFUL ENTRY!!

07 Oct 2024, 13:29Your claims department sent an email to the broker on Thursday saying that they don't see it as forceful entry, but I have ALL the proof from photo's. How in the world will I open an electronic door for ******* so they can ***** R29 000 worth of goods??? I pay my insurance every month, and this is my first claim with you, and now you say I'm lying!!! BAD SERVICE!!

18 Oct 2024, 09:44Just an update- The only feedback I received: They are still busy with the dispute... I have spoken to other people with the same experience as me, and apparently they never changed the outcome of their assessor - It looks like it's cheaper for them to pay the company doing the disputes than to pay out the claims... What I realized is that I'm paying almost R2000 per month towards an insurance company I cannot rely on, and it's very sad that I lost thousand of rands because of RENASA. I'm loosing buyers for my house because the paint and ladder I need to fix my house was ******.
