Renasa Insurance - ********* behavior in the Insurance Industry - STAY AWAY !
Never ever do business with Renasa Insurance.
They are ********* and according to other reviews and social media posts, they respond with the same boring line that they send to every claimant denying responsibility and refusing to pay out.
In my case, they refuse to pay, but they admit that their client caused the accident due to the vehicle's brake failure. I quote their response: "Our insured experienced an unforeseen brake failure."
Regardless if the brake failure was unforeseen or not (which is blatantly a lie, because the driver DID report to the insured / owner that the vehicle's brakes are having problems before the accident) the party responsible for causing the accident should cover all damage caused and that is why they have an insurance policy.
Renasa Insurance might think I'm done with them. I am by far NOT. I sent them several Letters of demand and they refuse to settle this matter. They blatantly lie regarding the "unforeseen brake failure" even though I have a statement from the driver of their client's vehicle stating the truth.
Renasa Insurance are ********* and should be investigated deeper down. Renasa Insurance should be REMOVED from the industry as such ********* behavior should be dealt with accordingly in line with the Short-Term Insurance Act of South Africa.
This time they took on the wrong person.
I will make sure that they get investigated properly.
I will take this matter to court and I will also make them pay every cent I spend on this case.
Anybody that have the same experience with Renasa Insurance, please comment. Let's make the world aware ! And let's do something. Deception and ********* behavior in the Insurance industry are red flags for ********** activities that should be dealt with accordingly !

CLAIMANT: AMANDA LEONORA PIETERSE ID: *** 086 7 Ben du Toit Str Bronkhorstspruit Gauteng 1020 Cell: *** E-mail: *** Vehicle: Volkswagen Polo Vivo Hatchback Reg no: JBW 877 EC
Your Insured: Idube Projects and Maintenance cc – Norman Clark Vehicle insured: Mazda BT50 - Reg no: HGL 213 FS - Driver: Brandon Lotz SAPS Case: Witbank SAPS – AR 173/11/2019 Other 3rd party vehicle involved: Ford Fiesta – Reg no: FWX 935 GP
Background: As you are aware that my car with Reg no JBW 877 EC was damaged in an accident on 13 November 2019 in Witbank Mpumalanga involving your client Idube Projects and Maintenance with vehicle Reg no HGL 213 FS and driver Brandon Lotz. On 13 November 2019 myself, and a passenger were driving in Watermeyer street Witbank towards the Watermayer Jellico robot which had a red light for traffic to stop. I brought my vehicle with Reg no JBW 877 EC to standstill waiting for the robot to turn green. So did the Ford Fiesta Reg no FWX 935 GP also bring his vehicle to standstill behind me, waiting for the robot to turn green. Suddenly with no warning the Mazda BT-50 with Reg no HGL 213 FS crashed into the Ford Fiesta from behind. The impact and force of the Mazda BT-50 caused the Ford Fiesta to crash uncontrollable into my Polo Vivo from behind. The driver of the Mazda BT-50 Brandon Lotz explained to the parties involved on the accident scene that the vehicle’s brakes failed. Brandon also stated that he mentioned to the owner of the vehicle before, that the vehicle’s brakes are failing. It was also further noticed that the Mazda BT-50 with Reg no HGL 213 FS had a trailer loaded with heavy steel structures attached to the vehicle with no braking mechanism installed on the trailer to assist with the braking of the weight being pushed from the trailer. Supporting photographs attached. For myself in vehicle with Reg no JBW 877 EC and the vehicle behind me with Reg no FWX 935 GP this accident was completely inevitable as we had no idea or indication that the Mazda Bt-50 will not stop while we were obeying the red traffic light that ordered us to stop. Also for this reasons, no safe preventative movements were possible in any way to prevent this accident.
