Rejected claim due to some absurd reason

Do not insure your house/building content with Renasa!!! They will find any reason to reject your claim. Our boundary wall collapsed in front of our house due to telkom digging trenches in front of our wall. We sent in a claim to repair the wall to Renasa and they rejected our claim due to some absurd reason regarding a building law that was instated in the year 1950. Does that mean we have to rebuild our entire house and boundary wall according to the new law to have it insured for any loss or damage??? Why do we have houseowners/building cover for then???<br> That is utter nonsense and we will take this up with the ombudsman!!
