Over this !
So the idea behind insurance is to get something out to help you deal with whatever may have happened , right ? Apparently not. This is the third time an incident has left me in a very uncomfortable position and for some reason the excess asked for is roughly 5 times the actual cost... It's excessive... The idea afterall is to get something out.. Not invest a fair amount so you can invest more. So done with this.

As a result of your response to our email of 6 August '15, we were successful in identifying your policy.
In your response, you mentioned that your lap top computer suffered damage. Regretfully you do not enjoy cover for it. In fact, you only elected Insurance cover for your motor vehicle.
You referred to a loss suffered when your vehicle was broken into. You chose not to register a claim as the excess far exceeded the value of the loss. The excess mentioned is market related, for motor vehicle claims. However, should you only claim for the broken window, the much lower glass excess will apply.
