5 months later, claim still not finalised

Claim number SPM 226893 - Volkswagen<br> <br> Am the registered owner on vehicle that was insured by Renasa, The vehicle was involved in an accident and then write-off in June 2015 and the claim was submitted to yourselves since then the claim has not yet been finalised. Its been up-to 5 months and am now even seeking legal advise, to intervene on the matter and establish the cause of the delay in finalising this claim as I feel like am being prejudiced by the company. I wait so long with no clear explanation to what is the delay
