3rd Party claim SPM373512

What an experience so on the 19th December my husband was involved and an accident he was hit from the back we have been trying to claim from Renasa ever since so I'm December the story we got was they open only on the2nd Jan for 3rd party claims don't insure with this company they close during the busiest time of claims anyway so I then wait for the 2nd I get told my case is with Marionette Reid Durban branch who has the nerve to ask me why I don't claim from my own insurance company so I lose my rewards the nerve then she gives me no service then I get to Rebecca Alfred who now starts the process it's the 6th of Feb 2018 and they haven't done anything people out there please insure with companies that are in top10 insurance sad is we pay insurance every month I don't advise anyone to get insurance with Renasa they don't know what they doing now I'm transfered to legal department all documents have been sent now I'm awaiting for Nicollet Nyoni who must assist me I've dealt with so many people it's disappointing

“Please note that Oxford Claims and Legal Services has been appointed to attend to your approach which
we now confirm receipt of.

Please note that we require the following documentation and/or information
• ID of the owner of the vehicle
• Registration certificate of the vehicle as proof of ownership (not the Licence disk) OR the first page of your Finance Agreement with the bank.

This claim will be dealt with in terms of its own merits and the merits and quantum of your claim will be determined by applying fair legal principles.

This is not an insurance claim, and this approach is not dealt with in terms of a contractual arrangement, but a claim which will be dealt with in terms of the law.

If you do not supply OCLS with the required documentation and/or information the approach may be unreasonably delayed. OCLS reserves the right to request further documentation and or information at any point during the approach.

Once ALL of the required documentation and/or information is received will we appoint an assessor to assess the vehicle. If your approach, or a portion of your approach is successful and an agreement of loss is signed, payment will take place 30 days from date of receipt of the agreement of loss. It is your responsibility to follow up with OCLS as to the progress of the approach. This may be done telephonically
