I've recently purchased a home with remax and the service was excellent ,the estate agent Dion Pauley handled the entire process professionally and with care , when "purchasing" a home I would definitely recommend Remax . On the renting side of things it gets a bit sour though ,we have recently moved into our new home and vacated our rental which was through Remax ,their service and compassion SUCKS ,to say the least. 4 years ago when we moved in ,the unit was in a state and had major issues ,In the skeem of things it was a but senseless to note a chip on a door frame and a tiny hole in the wall as there were bathroom cabinets falling apart and kitchen tops full of mould etc .there was no keys noted in the entry inspection but now I need to supply R450 for a key .Long story short ,this will all be taken out of my deposit , I complain and get the "you are welcome to report us to the tribunal ,however your deposit will be kept in trust" speech , disgusting to say the least
