Rental agent, Remax town and country

My dad and i have been using Remax town and country for a few years to manage out town house unit. We dealt with Connie Snyman who never rep**** to emails, never acted on requests and was always rude.

After my father passing away I decided I wished to take over the unit myself. I requested all the paper work to be sent to my email. This alone took nearly two weeks.

There was money which was set aside for maintenance which had been coming off the tenants payments. I had instructed Connie to proceed with the necessary maintenance before the new tenant moved in. On contacting the tenant I found out that nothing I had instructed Remax to do was done. The money set aside had infact been paid into a municipality account that was apparently in arrears. This was also not brought to my attention and I had also not authorized such a payment.

This is unacceptable practise and I will be taking this to the Estate Agent Affairs Board.
