REMAX-SELECT PHOENIX BRANCH ****

I rented out a townhouse unit from REMAX-SELECT the Phoenix branch Durban from Feb 2023. Within a month of occupation, I experienced serious defects with the property, the stove required repairs. REMAX confirmed the owner would repair the stove, but this was never done. I also obtained REMAX-SELECT falsely advertised -claiming the complex had a secure remote access gate but this was a lie only to discover the property wasn’t legally passed/registered making it unsure to occupy and I has received a summon via the sheriff that the owner didn’t pay the developer for the unit. I immediately contacted REMAX-SELECT and the response was “These things happen in Phoenix, pay no attention to it” After providing a full 2 months written notice to move out the property, I was informed that my full deposit was forfeited which accordingly to law its ******* to withhold a full deposit. I sent numerous emails and to date the branch manager Chantel Singh hasn’t responded.
