Remax rental deposit ****

I rented a 3-bedroom apartment from Ms. Helga Gouws (Remax Rentals Melkbosstrand) in De Aanzicht Balwin Estate in Richwood from August 2024 to February 2025. Initially, Ms. Gouws appeared to be very professional; however, concerns arose during the outgoing inspection report. I was charged nearly R5000 for the removal of 3 sticker hooks, securing a toilet seat, and repairing a small chip (about the size of a fingernail) on the external wall, which I believe was caused by the Home Owners Garden Services. These charges seem to be disproportionate in relation to the issues. Additionally, I was held responsible for damage resulting from recurring issues with overflowing raw sewage on the grass and pavement, which seems to be beyond my control. In principle, that is not how you treat your honest well paying clients.
