Remax Properties Parklands DISGUSTING SERVICE

I bought a house through Remax Parklands. My service as follows...

1) I never had a deposit, the agent said the house is less than what i qualify for, he'll do an all inclusive. After everything went through, I had to take out a substantial amount loan as a deposit that i never budgeted for. That agent denied such allegation in front of my wife and myself.

2) There was an issue with the light fixture in the ensuite. Light was breaking out of the ceiling and was not working correctly. Said agent confirmed it will be fixed by the time we move. I confirmed again when I had to sign the inspection form.

NOTE...at this point the said agent left and I got assigned someone else.

3) after moving in, found that when it rains, water leaks excessively between the house and attached garage ie. water runs down the inside wall of the garage, under the garage door into the lounge...this was never stated in the inspection sheet. I also specifically asked upon viewing if there is any leaks to which i was told no. In saying after I brought this up with lawyers, the previous owner then claims 'voetstoots'...you can only claim voetstoots if you openly disclose failures as per SA Law which was never done. The lawyers stopped responding to my emails (obviously they already got all their money).

4) New agent then said he will sort all this out, I got quotes for the sealing of the water leak, electricians also came to look at the light. Apparently it's a special light that has a mini transformer that needs to be replaced.

It's now been 2 months since all this, nothing has been done, the new agent has disappeared, the lawyers have disappeared, I even contacted the owner of the Remax Properties Parklands (Jose de Abreu), he has never rep**** to or made contact in any way.

So in saying, I am highly disgusted by the service of Remax Parklands and abcolaw
