Remax Home finder Secunda

First of all,

I rented a property through Remax Secunda, i stayed in that house for more than three years with the option to buy the property. i phoned and arranged numerous meetings with them. There was just ''NO'' interest from their side as service provider. 'why should they care if the rent is being payed every month and the place is being well maintained' .i should have seen this coming when i moved in. the yard was a ********** condition and the house was dirty never cleaned before the keys was handed to me.

so they arranged a garden worker to come and clean the yard for me, they sent him with an electric fly-mo lawn mower to cut grass thats higher than 1.2 meters??? after cutting a section of 2X2 the lawn mower burnt out. only to realize that they will never return to clean the yard for me. so i hired people to do it and sent them the bill for the yard cleaning. up to this day i have never been paid back...

I started to make improvements to the property as all my documentation was approved by the bank.

Soon things started to fall apart, i had a geyser that burst and faulty electricity through the whole house. The geyser has been fixed after a week of moaning. even though i had insurance on my house contents i still had to replace the furniture myself, without so much of a question asked if i had suffered damages.

the electricity was bridged to a power box in the street with a cable coming from inside of the house.

Things was building up slowly but surely, i took matters into my own hands and started to fix everything by myself.

one day i walked into the garage and realized that the roof was busy collapsing. I saw that every wooden cross beam has been snapped in half because of foundation has never been compacted.

i decided that i am not going to buy the house as i gave them numerous chances to fix the house.

I left the house with a built braai and fire pit as well as electric fencing and a beautiful garden that was maintained.

upon inspection they couldn't find anything wrong with the place. Now a whole month later i am still waiting for my deposits to be returned as the house was paid out front as well. every day i phone they say that payment will be made that same day but still nothing.

I feel that Remax does not live up their slogans and fancy sayings. i will not recommend renting a house through them ever.
