RE/MAX Advantage is a huge disadvantage in the Real Estate business

Dealing with the RE/MAX Advantage team is the worst experience EVER! Each person you deal with at RE/MAX Advantage either never replies to your email or says 'I will call you back" only for you to call them again because they don't call you back. They are completely incapable of communicating with clients and this is an overall issue within this company from rentals to sales to Management. Why do you pay for a service fee or commission on a sale if they can't even deliver a basic service of communicating with a person! As a deaf person I solely rely on written communication due to no response from them I had to get an interpreter to call the RE/MAX Advantage owner Frikkie to get information of what is going on with my apartment.

My annoyance experience started with the Rental agent Janet - the tenant informed her that the stove hob has been cracked. I was informed of this in July 2022 I gave the go ahead to fix it and waited two weeks for a response I had to email 4 times asking what is the hold up with the stove being fixed. I was told the tenant is traveling and they can't fix it until is his back, here we are in December and still the stove hasn't been fixed.

The lease was suppose to be renewed on 1 October 2022 with the tenant I have no idea if a new lease term has been signed because as usual there is NO COMMUNICATION! I had to once again email to ask what is the status on the lease with NO FEEDBACK as usual maybe I will get a response in 3 months time.

In August 2022 I asked that my apartment be put in the market and to date I haven't had any feedback from the sales agent Sideshen. This is ridiculous 4 months no communication from Sideshen a sales agent that works on commission.

When my interpreter phoned the owner Frikkie again (after he said he will phone her back which of course never happened) he gave her the incorrect listing value and again here we are waiting for feedback from them. The manager Louis was emailed on the same day to inform him that the listing value is incorrect 3 days later and still now feedback for him too. So today the owner Frikkie was emailed lets see how long it will take to receive a reply from him.

RE/MAX SOUTH AFRICA you should invest in training your team on how to communicate with clients effectively.

Adrian Goslett I would like you to tell me is this how RE/MAX service their clients?
