Firstly I'm beyond shocked that in 2022 there is such ****** treatment from white people towards blacks. I contacted one of your agencies regarding a house to rent for my small business eatery. I explained I got listed when covid hit but recently paid everything up literally 3 small amounts produced proof that the credit facility said I must allow 21 days for my record to be uploaded and updated. I was asked to add 5k on top of the 20k which I agreed, made to draft a letter to the landlord for motivation which I did. Produced all documents they requested including my 6 months bank statement which clearly indicated I can afford the place. I even offered to pay for all necessary documents regarding rezoning as per the law requires and the current tenant is running a small business I think as a seamstress and no permit. The agency calls and tells me the land lord want the security deposit to be uped with 5k more so that's literally 10k more than the initial rent asked for. I declared on our first meet and advised that I was waiting for record to be cleared in 21 days produced the proof they could have turned me away from the get go instead I had to be toyed with and belittled clearly this is about the skin colour. Your service was sickening and trust me I'm reporting the matter to the relevant board.
