Mislead

When looking for a rental home we were assisted by an agent from Remax in Pretoria. The agent assured us that, despite not having paid a deposit or having submitted the rental agreement that the house would be our to move into at the end of February 2022. He assured us that we could submit the forms once we returned from our holiday. In January when we contacted the agent to clarify some points on the rental agreement documents he informed us that he had enter the house out to someone else. This was incredibly poor service and very misleading, especially when we were willing to do whatever we needed to to secure the property. I am so unimpressed with Remax and sincerely hope I do not have to deal with another agent from the company.
