HORRIBLE SERVICE FROM REMAX ALL STARS

Goodman Nyakallo Serahanye is the worst estate agent ever! Very quick with demands of payments on attorney fees, but extremely lax in ensuring that we get the property within reasonable time and in a satisfactory condition. We signed an OTP in November 2019, paid all attorney fees by mid March 2020, but the property only got registered in the middle of September 2020 after much fighting from our side. Agent and seller withheld information from us. Their documents were also rejected by numerous institutions and thus the delays in the registration cost us a lot of money. This was relayed to them, and they simply made light of our plea. When we wanted out of the contract in July 2020, Goodman then begged us not to cancel, and instead offered to pay us back all our attorney fees. We agreed to this since we were already financially bruised and the property was at the last stage of the transfer. Now that we are ready to take occupation of the property, the agent has new details about the state of the house that we had not agreed on and instead claims that the property is now our responsibility. He also refuses to pay us the attorney fees back, saying he does not have the money, even though he begged us not to cancel the contract and promised us the payment of his own accord. Complaining to Jenny De Necker, the broker owner of Remax All Stars is also of no use. She hardly provided any help to us, instead just repeating what the agent has been telling us.
