Experienced a bit of buyers remorse purchasing a property. Upon completing a offer to purchase with remax elite agent Natasha indicating clearly my rates bill would be R400 not plus minus but R400. One can of course anticipate this means plus minus. We asked the agent over and over being Natasha what the cost of the rates would be which she said we must be prepared to pay about R1500 to R1600 as this includes levies as I stay in a complex.

However after staying in my new house for 3 weeks. For the life of me I received a rates bill for 8 days at R276.

To my dismay how can they advertise houses in muizenberg to have a rates bill of R400. I refer to capricorn beach complex. Search up any house and that's what they clearly indicate. R400.

I spoke with this agent on the day of of the otp and wrote it down word for word as she said it. I will now have to cough up an additional plus minus R500 month. Now there's lots I can do with R500 to be honest. All in all my levies and rates equates to more than R2000 now. This is so unfair that they would get away with these lies.

I have only contacted the agent now regarding this however I'm so livid as I dealt with *********** attorneys when I moved in here being Gunston attorneys. They look extremely dapper at their offices in Westlake and seem to know what they talking about however we wouldve lost so much money if we did not query things I suppose we must be grateful as they apologized formally and sent us a R200 take alot voucher to make up for their mistakes. I would've lost thousands had I kit queried the transfer they send a R200 takealot voucher. Watch out for them as well.

My concern still being how do I deal with this agent as I suddenly feel like getting out of this house after seeing this nonsense. I suppose I would suffer major losses. But there's just more issues that has arisen and I just feel like calling it day and getting rid of this house. What can I do
