Dishonest agents

My wife and I bought a property with Remax and the transfer end of November 2024. I then moved in end of November and within a month of moving in, I noted defects on the house. I notified the agent that sold me the house about the defects that I saw and he promised to attend to them in the new year as it was in December and he said many companies would be closed at the time. In January I notified him again and he brushed me off, told me that the client that sold him the house is a very good person and they are honest. He made my concerns to be null and void. I contacted him again in February and he continued with the same stance. He just told me that "things like these do happen" and that the seller had no knowledge of any of these defects such a leaking roof, faulty pool pump, garage door, falling ceiling and other defects. I advise you to never buy houses from remax. The agents are nothing but people that are just after sales commission.
