Advertising properties for sale when they are not for sale

I have contacted this company about properties they are advertising for sale. If they return my calls (which is infrequent), the response has been the same EVERY TIME (different agents involved): "that property has been sold" (even when said agent is advertising several properties, and I have not identified the specific property in which I am interested.
