I'm sharing my disappointing experience with Remax Panache to caution potential buyers. I strongly advise you to:

1. Carefully review your Offer to Purchase (OPT). 2. Appoint your own conveyancing attorney, rather than using their recommended one. 3. Hire independent professionals for inspections (e.g., electrician, roofer, pest controller).

My Experience:

I purchased a house in Durban through Remax Panache. Despite their roofer's report stating no damage from boris, I've had to replace the roof. When I tried to bring in my own specialist, they suddenly arranged to tent the house, restricting our access.

Additional Issues:

Upon receiving the keys, we discovered numerous problems, including non-functional appliances. The seller refuses to address these issues, and the agent failed to disclose them.

I believe Remax Panache, their recommended suppliers, and attorneys collaborated to deceive buyers. Be cautious and take necessary precautions to protect yourself.
