Small business not considered and seriously affected my Regus systems
I have had the worst experience at Regus after signing up for a business lounge office space when the Covid disaster seriously impacted my small business and we had to close our offices. I had wonderful service signing up and pleasant staff and an all-round nice work environment while working there the few days I did. However, their app was very difficult to use, we had problems trying to add people to the system or change anything. We usually had problems printing or scanning and sent it to reception to assist. My assistant did some printing for a launch which amounted to R11 000. This was debited from my account. I contacted the Campus branch manager, Daniel, to explain that such a printing bill will seriously affect a small business still trying to claw back after the impact of Covid. I sent an invoice for the same printing at Jetline for R3800 and asked if they can please see to give us a little discount as the charges are very excessive, they came back and simply said, those are our charges. I then had to forgo the contract to use their office space due to affordability. I contacted the branch manager at the Campus, Daniel, explaining and giving notice to cancel. He responded that he is sad to see us go. I followed up twice to make sure when the debit order will stop of which he responded. My account was debited another 2 months after my mail to him cancelling my contracts that only needs a 1 month notice to cancel. When I queried it, I was simply told that i didnt do it correctly on the app. I am extremely dissapointed with the way I was treated, and my concerns simply disregarded. There are businesses closing all over SA and the world in fact and we really dont need these situations putting us behind further. I recommended Regus to 3 of my friends, I will never do so again!
