Rude receptionist

I visited the Regus business center at Clearwater for fingerprints. At the boom gates, they ask for your ID but don't have the POPIA Act displayed anywhere.

In the building itself, there was no receptionist present. I stood at reception for 5 minutes feeling lost, not sure where to go, as the boards that are supposed to display the companies don't have the company that I was looking for listed.

She eventually pitched up from lord alone knows where (from the outside of the building that she is employed at). She sauntered in with an earpiece in her ear, speaking. She finally acknowledged me but was as rude and cold as anything. She coldly told me the procedure and told me to sit. She didn't offer me refreshments or anything. After she helped me, she just played on her phone instead of having situational awareness. Then a minute later, a pair of guests arrived and she treated them equally badly. She treated all 6 of the guests there in that 30minutes as if we were an inconvenience to her.

The lady that was supposed to do the fingerprints came in and assisted the 1st guest. He was done and left. The receptionist didn't pay attention to the room. Only when the 3rd guest got up did she tell me I could go through. She also was terribly rude to that 3rd guest, as she told him, "I told you that you are after the others."

I was a receptionist and this behavior is absolutely unprofessional. She is rude and should not be a company's first point of contact.

However, the lady that did the fingerprints was amazing. Friendly, patient, and very good at her job and she deserves 5 stars!!
