Regent Insurance *****s Up Third Party Claimants

My car was bumbed into by a Touch Line Marketing truck [which is Regent's client]. I met the requirements for a third party claim [as was confirmed by one of their staff]. Last week, I made a follow up on my claim only to learn that the staff member is on maternity leave, via an auto response email. I sent an email to Audrey Mathobela, as she is the one dealing the other staff member's portfolio.

Audrey Mathobela insisted that I send an invoice from the panelbeaters for the fixing of the car. I refused as I already had been warned that Regent is notorious when it come to *****ing third party claimants. She wanted to use the invoice to pay the differnce of what is on the quotation[s] [I sent regent 4 quotes when I made the claim] and the amount on the invoice. When Audrey Mathobela saw that I was not going to furnish her woth the invoice, she now insisted that Regent send an accessor to access the car. But common sense tells me, what is the accessor going to report to Regent, because all [except for some that I deemed not "important"] the parts that were fix are no longer visible. Why/how is the accessemnet being insisted upon, and where does is it fit in the payment of the claim. I refused to have the car accessed, as this is another way that they want to ***** me up

The thing that Regent do not understand is, it is not about money; it is about restoring my car to its original condition [I bought the car July]. I will not rest until I am paid the full amount that is enough to restore my car to its original state.
