Insurance premium up but car value down

Hi,<br> <br> In Nov 2014 my insurance premium went up by approx R150 and when i enquired why, when the value of my vehicle decreased should my premium go up.<br> <br> I was told that no my value of my car is still the same and its still insured for retail value etc etc, and the amount was given to me.<br> <br> After shopping around for more quotes, i called Regent again to enquire what the value of my vehicle is, and it was R10 000 less just 2 months after the first value was given to me.<br> <br> I cannot see how my car value can decrease by R10 000 in 2 months and also that my premium has increased.<br> <br> I am disgusted by this! Always out to make a quick buck!
