Cancelled policy without my knowledge

I joined regent life and now I received a letter with a policy number and terms and conditions. A week later I received a second letter informing me that the policy is cancelled without my knowledge and no reason so ever.I am disappointed by the way things are being handled plus when I call the voice operator keeps play music not transferring me through to talk to a consultant.
