BEWARE OF SMALL PRINT IN YOUR HOME INSURANCE

Our Homeowners insurance was with ``i Sure`` which was underwritten by Regent Insurance. i Sure informed us they were discontinuing with Homeowners just when we discovered a leak in the light socket of our swimming pool. they sent their appointed contractors, (a Plumbing and Electrical Company) to drain our vinyl lined pool, which they left empty for over a month in the scorching October sun. Their ``so called`` contractors said the delay was due to not being able to source the repair kit. ...What repair kit ? ? all it needed was a seal in the pool light socket which they came and fitted over a month later after the vinyl had shriveled up. They then told us to fill the pool and the vinyl just tore away from the sides. Regent found a clause in the small print that excluded vinyl pools BUT, when I received the policy document several months after paying my premiums, I phoned and queried this because I had a vinyl pool...I was informed that that clause referred to the vinyl pool you erect in your garden for kids to play in and not properly constructed pools with approved plans...BE VERY AWARE OF REGENT INSURANCE, THEY TAKE YOUR PREMIUMS BUT BEWARE IF YOU TRY AND CLAIM.! ! ! ! !
