UPS sold with faulty batteries
I bought a 0.7 kva UPS in December 2022 from this company Regal, however rhis did not suffice me. Then after a month (in January 2023) I bought a second one (2.0 kva) which as per calculation should suffice my needs. However a month after I had bought the second I noticed that the 2.0 kva gave the same time span as the 0.7 kva; the 'faulty battery' light and alarm kept going on. I handed in the device on March 30th 20 (RDR23/13445) and no indication was given as to when it would given back. Now for 2 weeks I have been trying to get an update as I have paid in full for a faulty UPS. The gents Dustin and Deeren redirected me to the branch manager Tammy Engelbeen who is related to the UPS; useless and faulty. Still no update and seems I lost my money. Bought another UPS elsewhere just to manage the loadshedding. Thanks Regal and thanks Tammy, my wallet is at your disposal.
So basically I have lost my money. This is how I was treated by Regal Security. Thanks Jay Chetty and Tammy Engelbeen.
