Made to believe i have won a trip to Capetown

I was contacted by two call centres refresh kzn and modern talking informing me that i possibly could win a trip to capetown.the agents lead me to believe that i have made it into the top 10 draw.The agents contacted me many times asking me if i had a credit card etc.I then was told to give my spouses cellphone number as the so called sponsor of the trip wanted to contact my spouse.i then was given a secret number by them which i needed to keep safe for the draw. I then was told by the agent to come in to their office for the grand draw at 15 boulevard opp pavillion mall. I was reluctant as i live a distance from pavillion mall and i told them i am unsure. Over the next two days i was contacted many times by these two companies troubling me to come for the draw telling me i will also win a consilation prize even if i dont win. Now i thought its true so i took time of work filled petrol and went to the office for the grand draw.On arrival they insisted to see my credit card.afterwards all they tried to do was sell us timeshares for the dream holiday club.there was no draw to capetown.i felt so foolish and angry as had i known the truth i would not have went.
