Refinery Cresta staff obviously don't value their customers

The service I received at the Refinery clothing store in Cresta Shopping centre was of low standards.

I walked into the shop, shopped around and walked towards the till to pay. I greet the ladies at the till before I had them my purshases.

They then inform me that the machine has jammed. I then request to go across to another store before the shop closes as they try fix the till machine.

When I return to the store, 15 mins later. 5 mins after the store close time (6pm), they tell me that they have cashed up.

I then politely ask them to pay as my items were already at the till and I had asked to quickly go to one of the store's across (with their approval).

All they could say was that they had already cashed up... As a first time buyer and potential regular customer, this left a bad taste to me and honestly felt disrespected by the ladies at the store. It's sad to see that in a country where employment is a problem, people are still gambling with their jobs and find no value in a customer. Biggest issue was that I communicated with them and they did not deliver on their side. If I had capacity to come another time, I would but sadly, I don't.
