Inhumane treatment of staff

On Thursday the 2nd of October I was at the East Rand mall branch Upon visiting the store, I was unable to shop because there was no staff available to assist customers. As I waited, I noticed a lady — who appeared to be in a supervisory or managerial position and was working on a laptop — **verbally intimidating and threatening the staff**. She repeatedly stated that she would issue warnings and ensure that they all get fired from “her shop.”

The situation was extremely uncomfortable to witness. The tone and language she used towards the employees were degrading and violated their dignity and basic respect as workers and human beings. The atmosphere was so tense and hostile that I decided to leave the store without making a purchase.
