incorrect information given and they went against their terms and conditions they put into place

I'm very disappointed with this clothing store the gateway branch Refinery i even went to the extent of sending them a complaints email. My name is Nokwanda maphumulo, I saw a dress that i liked and i placed it on lay-bye i payed for it the same month now because the dress was not a perfect fit due to the size i had to return it,Now upon my return i was advised that i will not be refunded by one of the staff i will only receive a voucher,I was shocked because the guy said they want to refund the card that the purchase was made with because i did not have the card at hand he was about to give me a cash refund this guy jumped and said no we don't give refund for laybeyed items i was confused because i had to read the terms and conditions and it was even stated on the slip that they refund in full if an exchange or a return is done the worse thing is i told them that i will read the terms and conditions again and he did say no mam we don't knowing that he was giving me poor customer service and incorrect information. If this is the case refinery clothing should state it on their terms and conditions I'm very upset with the gateway branch!!!!!!!!!!!
