Disrespected by store staff

Yesterday, I went into one of the refinery stores to see what I can buy, and because the store was messy with clothes on top of other clothes. Seems like they were arranging/packing new stock and rails were left unattended on aisles which made it difficult to walk pass, I ended up taking one item but the staff at Mall of Africa had the audacity to even talk about me “She literally came here to buy one item and she doesn’t have money to buy a back, basically she want to spend R199,00 only” This people are screaming to each other, one is at the till screaming to the one on the floor.

I felt disrespected and undermined, I even said I wish they could find something to keep themselves busy to avoid talking about people and the lady at the till just laughed.

From yesterday I knew I’ll have to find another Refinery store not around my area, and I need to remember not to do shopping in my work clothes because people will undermine you as if you are not their target market.

Basically this happened at Mall of Africa at 13:00pm and the store was quiet.
