Complaint Regarding Poor Treatment at Refinery (Durban Workshop Branch)

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my recent visit to the Workshop branch in Durban(Refinery).

Upon entering the store, the security scanner at the entrance began beeping. I was asked by staff to walk in and out of the scanner multiple times and even to remove my accessories in an attempt to prove whether the machine was faulty. It became clear that the issue was with the scanner itself, not with me.

As I proceeded into the store, I overheard staff members saying that I should not have been allowed in because the machine had beeped. I approached two staff members to ask what I was expected to do, as the situation was clearly not my fault.

One of the staff members, identified as Kwazi/Lwazi Mhlongo, responded in a very condescending tone, stating that I was not allowed to enter the store since the machine had beeped. When I asked if this was official policy or if there was signage to that effect, he admitted there was none but still insisted I could not enter.

As a result, I left the store without making the purchases I had intended.

I found this experience to be both disrespectful and unacceptable. I kindly request that you investigate this matter and provide me with an update on the resolution.
