bad customer service

I purchased goods cash; I was given change short with R50 and the cashier told me that he is going for lunch and there is nothing he can do. I must come back some other day to collect. I was speechless. and I did not protest I just turned and walked out of the shop. Refinery Maponya you owe R50 that is my hard-earned money had I wanted to donate it. I would have gone to a charity
