Low standard of workmanship
Doing business with Redflame Property Management was an unpleasant experience. Problems I experienced: 1. Business Image: The owner arrived at my house with his fancy double cab to do the quotation. This image created a level of high expectations and falsely added to the image of the business. When the day arrived for the work to be carried out, the owner sent out a team of supposedly subcontractors that arrived in their personal, unbranded vehicle. The vehicles condition made me worry about oil leaks on my driveway. 2. Micro Management: The owner was hardly on site during the day of work. I had to constantly check on his team and remind them of the scope of work to be carried out - which the team argued with me about. At this point I did phone the owner to clarify the scope of work as he was not on site. 3. Agreed Scope of Work: Redflame did not carry out the work as agreed on the quotation. Part of the scope of work was to sand and seal our wooden window frames. After their work was completed, our windows were worse off than before. We had rain water flooding through the window frames into the house. We had just repainted the inside of the house and we have laminate flooring in the bedrooms. 4. Return for Bad Workmanship: Redflame was asked to return as they did not seal any of the windows after replacing the wood beams. I will give Redflame their due as they did return to rectify their problems. After this, it rained once again and the windows still leaked. At this point I have taken it on myself to rectify their unprofessional workmanship. I do not want Redflame on my property again. I have also noticed areas that were not properly treated for damp, as per the scope of work to be carried out. 5. Broken Trust: I do not trust Redflame and their subcontractors. The subcontractors were complaining to and constantly asking my gardener for things in my garage and wendy house. I AM THE OWNER OF THE PROPERTY. If you need something, ask me. I will not recommend Redflame to any potential customer, as their overall quality of work does not reflect the price paid for services delivered.
