Greedy ********!

Anyone looking to rent with this company be warned! The Redcon Property Management staff are a bunch of ******. I had a lease with this company for close to a year. When I gave notice, during the inspection I disputed 3 things that were charged to me. I told the building manager that I cannot pay for pain on a roof because the stain was leak from upstairs and besides I didn't even reach the ceiling, never had anything suspended up there. He told me that this is the landlord's charge. I also disputed the wallpaper part because it was in that state when I moved in. I also disputed a living room globe because there were 2 bulbs when I moved in and not 3 as they claimed. I told the building manager that I will not sign because they were trying to make me pay for things that were not my responsibility. He agreed that of all the things that he put as my responsibility three were for the landlord. When the statement came in, which they were reluctant to send me in the first place, they had put the landlord's charges on my account and stole part of my deposit to cover these. I enquired with a lady called Penelope, she promised to get back to me but never did. I was advised to take this to the Housing Tribunal but I suspect they know how time taxing it is for a person to do this so they just call your bluff. I have a lot of other incidents that I have raised with the Redcon but where money is involved they have proven to be about profit first. They do not care how they make their buck or about their tenants. The lack of good business ethics is appealing. They might have gotten away with *****ing my rent but if this review can save you some how, RUN!
