Rude and insulting behaviour

I was not wearing my glasses, I asked the person at the till to explain how he arrived at the total price. He recounted, but at the end he said " You do not think". I do not know why he had to say that. I found it rude and disgusting. I was not fighting but needed explanation. I told him not to say that, he kept saying it, and even said he does not care.
