Rectron not honoring warranty

I bought a graphics card from Computer Mania late 2014. The card has been giving me issues from the start. I did not believe the issues were on account of the card as it was brand new and from a big company (Gigabyte). I Took the card back to Computer Mania. They immediately send the card for testing. Rectron confirmed that the card is faulty, and that the issue isn't my fault. It is a defect that the card shipped with. Rectron does not keep stock of these cards, so they want to give me a refurbished card. I do not accept that I have to pay R10500 for a broken card, then get a card back that has been fixed once already. The other option is to give me credit, however this credit is cost price minus 30%. In other words, they are charging me about 50% selling price for buying a broken card. I have no issue with Computer Mania, in fact Steven who is helping me with this has been exceptional in his service. I will support Computer Mania for the rest of my life because of this man. Rectron however, will never see my money again. They say that they have a 3 year warranty depreciated with every month
