Westgate Walding sold two R4000 tables for R980, offers no apology, blames me

Mr. Brett Martin, the company owner, confirmed in an email that I would receive a reserve of R4 000 on a massive table and sideboard, in February of this year (2018). He provided this in an email, and within a few weeks, his team fetched the two extra large pieces, offering a bill of ladening to sign to confirm. The pieces were soon auctioned for R980! I confronted Mr Martin with his email and information about this obvious error, and Mr Martin was arrogant, condescending, asked personal details about me, admitted nothing wrong, asked me why I was not taking any responsibility for the error, and suggested because his team did not fill out the goods receipt correctly, he was under no obligation to keep his word provided in his email to me. He basically stole my furniture, sold it for less than I would if I had sold it on the street in front of my house. His arrogant, dismissive attitude, complete with a swirling glass of wine, witnessed by several staff, was revolting.
