Terrible Customer Support

<p>I will never purchase a product from rebel tech ever again as they have terrible customer support once a product breaks and expect you to cover all costs for shipping. </p> <p><br /> The Why:<br /> <br /> I've purchased a Corsair VS550 psu from rebeltech approximately 1 year ago. The psu has just packed up about 3 weeks ago. I phoned them to asked the about returning the product to them, however I queried the courier fees I had to pay for getting the product to them and back again which would amount to +/- R300. to purchase a new one would roughly cost R800, today. i.e. it amounts to +/- 40% of the price. </p> <p>I asked if there is I way that I can take it to a local supplier of theirs to have it replaced since it has a 3-year guarantee on it, where the sales rep rep**** and said they do not deal with the public. So again, I asked if they could phone them and I can just drop it off, again the sales rep rep**** with the same answer.<br /> <br /> I do feel that customer support should be on the cost of the company and not the customer. I have spent more that R30k with them and paid for the products to be shipped to me. The least they could have done is give me a hassle free support like Takealot.com does.<br /> <br /> Lastly, this story was the nail in the coffin, there are various others.</p> <p> </p>
