An Unhappy Customer
I was contacted by Nikita Oosthuizen, who is an independent estate agent, when I advertised a cottage for rent. I was initially impressed - she was very quick to come and look at the property, was very friendly and personable, and knew her "stuff". However, my having been impressed has turned to deep disappointment. I have been trying to get a rental payment from her since May and have been met with excuses and stonewalling - even two supposed proofs of payment she sent but the funds never arrived in my account. I was originally told that there was a problem with her account, and she asked for time to sort it out - but this has dragged on for three months with no proof of the bank issue and no resolution on the horizon. This is the first time I have used an agent to rent my property and to say I have a bad taste in my mouth is an understatement! I sincerely hope Nikita gets her act together and honors her commitment before legal steps are taken and she loses more business
