Extremely Shady Agent

The agent Mike Wiggill arranged for a meeting to view a rental property at 11 am on a Sunday. This was the day after the property was first advertised. When arriving we stopped at the gate, and I heard him speaking over the phone to the Landlord (he was also getting or gate code entrance from him) - saying he had already found a tenant, and was just waiting for the credit clearance. I thought he must have been speaking about another property, as he continued to take us to view the apartment. We expressed interest and he sent a link to forms and urged us to apply and also pay the fees - more than R600 - for this application. We did that within a couple of hours. Immediately after paying he texted me to say that the apartment was taken by someone else, and I realized he had known this all along. Extremely shady agent.
