realappliancerepair.co.za a **** and con-artists - Don't touch them!
False advertising at its best! These guys are con-artists and ********. They have a google ads with a great website ( https://realappliancerepairs.co.za) claiming they are Gauteng’s no 1 domestic repair service, but they are quick operating con-artists. They claim you can review them, but you can’t. I also think they continuously change names and use a very generic name so it is hard to trace or review them. Please be warned! I am tired of people like this taking advantage of others, *****ing their hard earned money and getting away with it.
I book and confirmed an appointment on a Friday morning. Friday night 17h45 I get a call to say they were delayed but can come now. They arrived, didn’t listen to me, opened the top of the dishwasher, and replaced something. Switched it on and immediately said it works. Then informed me it was R1600 and when I queried this, I was told it is because they had to replace the PC board. I was not prepared to spend so much and I was not convinced it is the PC Board. These “technicians” did no troubleshooting or checked anything. They simply went for the easiest and most expensive option. I was told that it was already installed, and I had no choice but to pay and they justified it by saying that I have a 6-month guarantee (website says 1 year). I had to pay R1600 to a phone number and when I asked about my invoice, I was told the “office” will send it to me. By the way, I still don’t have any invoice or documentation from them. They rushed out at the speed of lightning. The burning smell that I originally complained about was still there, so I stopped and called them back. I was told the smell was since I had not used it for so long. The dishwasher reacted the same it did before R1600 repairs. I called them back on the Monday. After a week of delaying tactics, not arriving and rude text messages, they arrived unannounced again on the Friday when I was not home. After checking again, they informed me it was the motor that has packed up and needs replacement. So that was the original problem and now I am expected to pay AGAIN!
