I had made an online booking at re-union vacations guesthouse and paid in a deposit on their website, and 4 days later I had to cancel as my partner was involved in an accident, I send them an email explaining what had happened and they told me that they are not in a position to refund, imagine that especially looking at the fact that we even had a funeral since the brother died on the spot but they could care less instead they are telling me that I should postpone but they cannot refund the deposit I made, I mean we are in a crisis, that money could help us in so many ways but no not them they don't have that kind of humanity
