Bad Bad Bad. Unprofessional Unhelpful and Unsafe!!!
Do not book this place EVER!! It looked lovely online om one arverts so we booked it happily and paid UPFRONT. As soon as we arrived we could see that it was not what we were expecting or what was advertised at all.
The room wae extremely small and not like it was advertised - much smaller than a normal hotel room and about double the price.
The balcony from the bedroom is apparently"communal" as it joins the bedroom to the communal lounge area which anyone can reach - Giving them easy and unfettered access to our room. We found this shocking aswell as completely unacceptable and obviously very unsafe.
We were not even there for 15 minutes before decided to leave and asked for a refund. At this point things became tricky and hard to understand- we could not get hold of any owner or manager or even anyone who could assist us in any way whatsoever.
We requested a full refund as we thought this was only fair considering the amount of time we spent there.
We have videos of our battle to get some kind of assistance aswell as of one of the staff members agreeing with us that it is totally unsafe.
Finally we were advised to request a full refund on the booking.com site instead of going through the hotel, which we did, explaining the whole situation but the hotel still declined and charged us a r650 cancelation fee which is half of the total amount we paid.
DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE. IT IS SMALL, UNPLEASANT, OVERPRICED AND UNSAFE

11 Oct 2021, 11:03Still noone has contacted us back about this or even rep**** to one of our many many phone calls and emails - all sent and directed to whatever phon number or email address we could find because the one on the "website" either doesn't work or never existed.
You think I am just going to leave this?? No way my friends!! We paid ALOT of money for that weekend away, that trip and that room and we were not even there for 10 minutes. Basically we stayed for the tour and then immediately called the manager who wasn't there, then the owner, who also wasn't there and apparently doesn't even exist because we still can't get hold of the woman and she refuses to communicate with us. The hotel keeps telling us to take it up with the booking site - booking.com and vice versa - its frigging ridiculous!! Just the plain arrogance of the woman the place and the site- not to even offer us one CENT back for remuneration or apology!! No way stuff that.

11 Oct 2021, 11:28- WE FINALLY HAD TO LEAVE (in a huff) after a VEEEERY long time spent in an extremely unproductive and unsatisfying argument with: the "manager", the "nameless staff member", the "gardener/ waitor", as well as another employee there who we explained the situation to and he actually agreed with us
- Oh, and if you don't believe me, I have it ALL on video tape!!
- Actually I think 2 of the staff members agreed with us that the room was completely unsafe - largely, but sadly, not only due to the "SHARED BALCONY" aswell as our room door that couldn't even lock!! I mean it was all just ridiculous!!
-NOT THAT I ACTUALLY EVEN FEEL WE SHOULD NEED TO GO TO THOSE LENGTHS IN A SITUATION LIKE THIS ONE WHERE THE PROOF IS ALL LITETALLY RIGHT THERE, I MEAN LIKE:
-The "Beautiful Big Balcony" where we could enjoy private ****tails overlooking the ocean.. actually led right out from OUR BEDROOM, STRAIGHT out onto the communal shared "UPSTAIRS DECK AREA"
- This was the outside area of the upstairs communal / social "LOUNGE / CONFERENCE AREA",
- Which just so happened to be in the space next to our room.
- Just incase you still don't get the full idea or scope of the problem.. let me paint you a picture:
- Let's say ANY person AT ALL on the property could stroll into the "lounge" maybe sit down for second inside, peruse the menu, order something light for a late dinner, take a casual little stroll to outside on the deck to have a look at the lovely view - which, granted, it was.. and **** - magic - they are RIGHT inside our bedroom!!!
- Whether we are both there, not there at all, or I'm there on my own (God forbid), here this COMPLETE STRANGER IS IN OUR BEDROOM!!!
- Either with us or alone with our stuff - now you tell me please - because the manager found it completely reasonable.
- Like seriously, what the actual H*LL???

- I MEAN DOES THAT SOUND NORMAL TO YOU AT ALL??
