Same here, he did some work at my place monthssss ago. Said, " no problem just pay me X amount". So i did. He asked if I could lend him my long extended Step ladder and as I thought i could trust him, now he says i owed him money for months and did not pay him so he "decided" to reciver his money from my ladder. ***cin unacceptable behavior. He is now holding my ladder ranson for money he says i owe but said " just pay me X amount" and he never said i still owe him. now that he has a R2000 step ladder of mine which I had lend him, now he decides that he owes me nothing since i did not pay him and claims he had a "Right" to recover his money.
