Worst of the worst

If I was able to give them a negative rating, I would, To see how bad it can get with RCS do continue to read this, it certainly will be entertaining but hopefully act as a warning to potential customers of this inept company to think twice before engaging ON ANY LEVEL with them or any businesses that have ties with them. Grab a coffee or popcorn, since this will take some time. It appears that the only way that SOMETHING might possibly get done, is to write a complaint here on Hello Peter, which I've told them I will do and this week and especially when they called me today on a Saturday morning @ 8.45am. So: final straw. Due to my financial circumstances I knew that I would not be able to pay my Pick and Pay account's monthly installment in full. I reached out to PnP first prior to me missing a payment and was told I need to go into arrears. I asked this very rude and abrupt man if he's willing or able to either provide me with advice about how about setting up a payment plan or direct me to the right department. I was told that my financial issues (remember I'm their customer letting them know) is not his problem and I must sort it out myself and ends the phone call. Uh. Ok then. Since then things have been hitting the fan and it has not stopped. Its interesting to note that neither Woolworths or my BANK itself had any issues with setting up payment arrangements and it was done in a jiffy, without complaints or spending literally hundreds of rands (which could have gone to paying them, ironically) in dozens of phone calls. I got a call from RCS about a month or so later telling me I am in arrears (surprsie!). I explained the above and asked if we can make an arrangement. The answer was no and that it was handed to 'AGA' which turns out be attorneys (I had to look it up, since the person on the line couldn't pronounce the name.) I was surprised because at this point in time I was only one month in arrears. So I was given their number and I spoke to very pleasant lady and she worked out a payment plan with amounts, dates etc. and then call again after 3 months. Since I was speaking to a representative of them, I thought this was then sorted. But oh no, not at all. This was just the beginning. A while after that I got a call (hello!) from RCS, telling me I am in arrears (surprise!) and I told them the above. I was very rudely told that this arrangement wasn't valid. OK. So what now? We need to make another payment arrangement. Uh, ok. So we did with reference numbers the works. Note that ever since this began I've not received a single email confirming any payment agreement. So another month lapsed, because of the new arrangements and I'm getting further and further in arrears. Relentless phone calls from them. I keep telling people, here's the payment arrangement, ref # etc. but either they didn't know about it despite the ref#(s) or just because it seems RCS just LOVES harassing people for no good reason at all. More time passes. I can't make payments because the dates keep moving forward. More phone calls from RCS. Eventually one day I decided to answer a call and I spoke to very helpful lady named Rentia. I told her about ALL that's gone before and we set up ANOTHER payment arrangement with ref# etc and the agreement is that I will pay X amount by the 27th of each month for the 1st 3 months starting November and after that period I suppose I must go through this again. That I did and had the courtesy to send them proof of Payment (POP). This Monday 12/12/23 I get an sms that I paid R450 short, which wasn't true so I emailed them the POP AGAIN with ref#. A day later I get an email asking for my ID#. *face palm anyone?* This morning all I did when the woman said I am in arrears I stopped her there and then and said I can give her a ref# and that a payment plan is in place. BTW, I STILL haven't received an email that sets out the plan, but my bank has and so has Woollies, why can't they, but obedient citizen that I am I paid what was agreed upon. Now if you're confused by now imagine what I must feel like with regards to them. I am neurologically divergent and the toll this has taken on my mental health and well being came to a head this week after Monday, so much so that I was physically debilitated for three days this week from the accumulated stress and uncer*****y, of the unrelenting phone calls, each person telling me a different story, each email and sms. I just collapsed under the stress this has caused (and still does) to me over MONTHS. And all I was trying to do, was do the right thing. Now this is what I want from YOU: A reply and apology that can be read on this website. An email to my personal email (see below), that this is taken seriously and will be sorted out once and for all. No phone numbers that I can call, nor do I want any calls from you, I simply cannot cope with speaking to another 'agent'. I want it all on record. I want this complaint escalated to whoever actually has the intellectual capacity to SORT IT OUT. If I do not get an answer within 5 working days, I WILL (not consider) I WILL take further action, like for example emailing this to your CEO, COO and CFO, since you are a CFA and you like everyone else MUST stick to the rules, and you have gone one step too far. Your actions so far has been deplorable on so many levels and I am certainly not willing to allow you an iota of space anymore to cause further mental harm to me due to your absolute ineptitude/unprofessionalism and gross mismanagement of the entire situation. Your rating as a 'business' on here, explains it all really. I will avoid ALL businesses in future that are associated with you, because of your disgraceful 'service' and once I am out of your clutches I WILL close my PnP account, believe me. You should be ashamed.
